Master Mix Academy offers a Vocational DJ and Music production entrepreneurship program for persons with disabilities. The program works closely with University of Illinois at Chicago and Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education Assistive Technology Department. Students learn the basic fundamentals of DJ performing arts and studio production. Also, Master Mix Academy provide students with the tools and resources needed to start their own event DJ Entrepreneurship business. The objective this program is to increase students maximum level of independent functioning by improving their work readiness skills while obtaining career experience towards being an Entrepreneur in the music industry.

youth Development STEM/STEAM program located in Chicago, Il. We provide STEAM/STEM career readiness educational programming to children of all ages on Music Technology and DJ performing arts as it relates to "The Science behind Sound." Our programs enhance C.O.R.E. educational skills such as critical and analytical thinking.
Master Mix Academy was founded in 2010 by Executive Director Dave Maze. The program was developed due to the lack of music programs that focused on Music Technology, Science, urban arts, and Science in Chicago. Over the past 6 years, Master Mix Academy has provided DJ performing arts and educational workshops and seminars to over 11,000 students throughout the Chicagoland area.
