Reason Propellerhead 7.0 is another Digital Audio Workstation that Master Mix Academy DJ Science students utilize for recording studio production projects. Students learn how to implement reverberation with Virtual Studio Technology plug-ins on recorded Vocals. Also, students learn how to manipulate Velocity when utilizing audio sound waves.
The DJ Science program offers a variety of activities related to DJ performing arts and Music Production. Students learn about Science and Music utilizing the latest Digital Audio Workstation Technology and M.I.D.I. (Music Instrument Digital Interface) devices. Students participate in developing the own Remixes with Ableton Live Digital Audio Workstation. Students learn how to create remixes on the fly with the lastest Ableton Live digital MIDI device "The Launch Pad." Also, students learn the process of editing and quantizing audio wave files with their remix projects.
Master Mix Academy utilizes Native Instruments Maschine 2.0 Digital Audio Workstation. Students learn how to manipulate sound frequency within their studio production projects. Students learn the basic fundamentals of a professional Mastering Engineer. Also, Students learn how to utilize Virtual instruments with the latest Virtual Studio Technology plug-ins.
